End of the year

It has come to the end of the year and I have learned so much from this class. I just wanted to thank everybody for helping me and especially Mr. O'Donnell for teaching me everything that i need to know.

 I think that my best photo ever would be a picture of Simon. I think is is the best because it has amazing depth of field!!

Photo Assignment #7: Food

This week I decided to take pictures of food because I knew that we were cooking a big dinner.

This week went very well.  The only problem that I was faced with was lighting. The lights in my kitchen are very dim so most of my pictures turned out dark. The way I fixed this was using the flash.

Tutorial

This week we got to choose a tutorial and try to make the picture. I choose the tutorial on how to make lightning. It was pretty complicating at first but when I got the hang of it, it was super easy!

Visual Dictionary

In this assignment we had to pick any word out of the dictionary and put pictures to it.

The only problem that I had in this assignment was using the clone tool to edit thing out.

Puns Photo Assignment

In this assignment we had to think of puns and use pictures to describe them. Like if you did its raining cats and dogs you would make it actually rain cats and dogs.

In this assignment I learned how to edit using photoshop. One problem that I had with this assignment was that I always ended up on the wrong layer.

Photo Assignment #6: Animal

This week I was originally going to take pictures of food but when I was playing with  my puppy I decided to do animal instead.

In this assignment I learned how to take pictures of a moving object who cant understand a word that you are saying. It was very difficult but I managed to take some good pics!

Photo Assignment #5: Black and White

This assignment went well. I was just in my basement playing cards with my sister and I just started taking pictures.

I learned how to make my pictures black and white in this assignment,  I also learned how to use editing on photoshop. Overall my assignment went the best it has ever been.

Photo Assignment #4: Macro

In this assignment I took pictures of macro. it was pretty difficult getting the camera to focus but it went well.

I feel that this assignment went very well. I looked around my house and saw a lot of little detail, and texture so I decided that I would do macro. Like I said before, I was having trouble getting my camera to cooperate but, it still went well.

Photo Assignment #3: Motion

This week I decided to take pictures of motion. My sister has a soccer game every week and everywhere you look there is motion!

In this weeks assignment I learned to be patient. you constantly had to wait for the right moment to take your picture and then you had to take like 40 more of the same picture. Overall, I would say it went well.

In this assignment I took pictures of people. There are people every where and they are all different. That is why they are special and that is why I decided to take pictures of them.

In this assignment I took photos of people. It went really well.  The lighting was perfect and my photos turned out to be amazing.   I am so happy that this assignment went well. For one of the pictures of my sister there is a little glare but overall it went well.

In this assignment I took pictures of nature.  I took pictures of nature because it is everywhere, like trees, flowers, grass, etc.. I had to wait for a sunny day so the sun would hit the trees just right. Overall I believe this assignment went well. i learned how to adjust my settings to get the perfect photo.

Car Assignment

In this assignment I learned how to edit a photo using photoshop. We had to go to different layers and change there settings and clone things.  Overall I really enjoyed doing this car assignment.

Motion Demo

In this assignment I learned how to use panning.  Panning is where you fallow the moving object with your camera and take the picture while your are moving. This causes the picture to blur. If you have your camera in focus then the object will not blur and only the background will.  I will use the panning technique when I am taking motion pictures.

For my first assignment I am planning on taking a few photos of food.  I think I am going to take a picture of  a pile of sour gummy worms. If I zoom in it will show the sugary sweetness of the candy.
food inspires me because it is cultural or unique.

Pop Art

In this assignment I learned how to edit on photo shop and add color to a photo.  I also learned how to insert pictures into a blog.

In this assignment we had to go around the school grounds and take pictures of things that had pattern of texture, maybe even symmetry, and many more. We had to take a total of 11 pictures and pick our favorite to post on are blog.

In this assignment I learned how to access photoshop and use a  blog.  I also learned how to use the rule of composition. Composition ads detail to the picture. Its the way, height and length that you take a picture.
